Job Summary
Interpret manufacturers' manuals to solve routine problems by analyzing circuits, selecting tools, and planning work sequences for shipboard electronics systems. Perform overhauls and repairs on High Frequency, Radio Frequency, Digital Modular Radio, and Naval Shipboard Antenna Systems using logic analyzers and digital oscilloscopes. Maintain operational knowledge of specific equipment including URN-25, WSC-3, and TACAN while working under immediate supervision. This role requires a Secret US DoD security clearance and two years of C4ISR experience in troubleshooting and maintenance. Required Qualifications
- Experience performing overhauls and repairs on any of the following shipboard electronics systems: High Frequency (HF), Radio Frequency (RF), High Frequency Radio Group (HFRG), Digital Modular Radio (DMR), Navy Multiband Terminal (NMT), Tactical Air Navigation System (TACAN), Electronic Support Measures (ESM), or Naval Shipboard Antenna Systems.
- Two (2) years current C4ISR or other relevant experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, installation and deinstallation of electronic systems, equipment, components, antennas, cables, cableways, waveguides and ducts, while using logic analyzers and digital oscilloscopes.
- This position is required to have and maintain a Secret US DoD security clearance.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of technical and management personnel.
Desired Qualifications
- Operational knowledge of URN-25, WSC-3, USQ-122, SSR-1, URT-23, DAMA, WRL-8, STC-2 a plus.
- Quality Management System (QMS) experience that is compatible with ISO 9001:2008 and 2015.
