Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair electronic equipment used in manufacturing automation, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and safely. Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and total productive maintenance according to standardized procedures. Troubleshoot faults using instruments, blueprints, and PLC ladder diagrams while programming PLCs, HMIs, and drives. Keep records of faults and alarms in the computer database and navigate machine systems to check operating parameters.
Required Qualifications
- Certification in Electronics Engineering or Associate Degree in Electronics technologies
- Extensive working knowledge of PLC's
- Extensive working knowledge of AC and DC drives
- Extensive working knowledge of Human Machine Interfaces
- Ability to read electrical and electronic schematics
- Ability to understand technical books and manuals
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to research in the Internet for manuals and instructions from components manufacturers
- Correct use testing instrumentation to troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues
- Very good communication skills
- Problem-solving ability
- A strategic and analytical mind
- Efficient time management skills
- Mental alertness to identify and react to machine process, quality and safety issues
- Effective communication with other team members and other departments' personnel
