Job Summary
Test and troubleshoot electronic products using specialized equipment, interpreting schematics and specifications to set up and perform tests; mentor and cross-train technicians; recommend process improvements; ensure quality and safety in a high-tech manufacturing environment; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain organized, safe work practices while supporting LEAN transformation in GE Aerospace operations.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree in Electronics or related field, Certified Electronics Program (18 months) or 4-year degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) or related field
- 1-3 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent knowledge
- Proficiency in troubleshooting to the component level, interpreting schematics, and using voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and Hi-Pot meters
- Certification PR Certification must be obtained within the probationary period
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing knowledge and IPC-A-610 standards (desired)
- Ability to interpret schematics and drawings, set up and perform tests, and communicate test results and quality observations
- Must be at least 18 years of age; eligible to work in the United States; pass drug screening as applicable
