Job Summary
Lead emergency planning, preparedness, and response for Electronics Specialty Gases by serving as the recognized technical expert for hazardous gas behavior, release scenarios, and hazard zones. Provide expert guidance on PPE selection, monitoring strategies, and isolation techniques while evaluating new products and supply modes for emergency implications. Design, deploy, and continuously improve ESG-specific training curricula and scenario-based modules for operators, technicians, and leadership across classroom, virtual, and site formats. Plan and conduct tabletop exercises, functional drills, and field simulations, including coordination with mutual aid partners. Act as a technical advisor to EHS, operations, and safety leadership during incident reviews and post-incident learning, while collaborating with global teams to align training with regional codes and customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- At least 15 years demonstrated strong capability and experience in emergency planning, preparedness, and response for ESGs
- Practical knowledge of ESG hazards, the equipment and components required for emergency planning, preparedness, and response for these gases on-site and off-site
- Established networks of external ER contacts across the Electronics industry
- Ability to communicate complex ideas, both verbally and written, in a simple effective way to non-experts inside and outside Air Products
- Self-starter, able to operate effectively without day-to-day supervision
- Team-player who engages others and works to a common goal
- Fluent in English and local language
- Location is flexible within Taiwan
