Job Summary
Lead global technical leadership for Electronics Specialty Gas (ESG) by cultivating expertise through training and mentoring. Introduce new ESG materials and equipment, managing supplier qualification and site infrastructure including life safety, purification, scrubbing, and waste disposal. Conduct active engagement in process safety reviews across production, purification, packaging, transportation, and customer delivery to influence regulatory requirements. Cultivate external technical relationships with ESG suppliers, customers, and regulators while participating in incident root cause investigations and equipment development. Provide technical support to operating sites for troubleshooting and reliability improvement, engaging with commercial and engineering teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements and regional standards. Based in Asia with flexible location within Taiwan.
Required Qualifications
- At least 15 years demonstrated strong technical capability and experience in ESG
- Exceptional knowledge of ESG hazards
- Exceptional knowledge of the equipment and components required to reliably manage these gases
- Exceptional knowledge of the customer application of these gases
- Exceptional knowledge of customer qualification requirements
- Exceptional knowledge of governing codes and standards
- Established networks of external contacts across the Electronics industry
- Demonstrated history successfully taking on new technical challenges
- Ability to communicate complex ideas, both verbally and written, in a simple effective way to non-experts inside and outside Air Products
- Self-starter, able to operate effectively without day-to-day supervision
- Team-player who engages others and works to a common goal
- Fluent in English language
- Location is flexible within Taiwan
