Job Summary
Electronics Specialist responsible for maintenance of electronic systems within Anchorage School District facilities; performs troubleshooting, analysis, and repair of public address systems, MATV and CCTV, and other electronic equipment; works from plans and specifications, often at heights over 20 feet; requires proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and various clock and security systems; heavy emphasis on compliance with electrical/building codes and safety procedures; includes interaction with cross-functional teams and documentation of reports.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or current enrollment in a GED program.
- A minimum of four years of experience within the past six years in electronics maintenance and repair.
- Conditional offer of employment contingent upon successfully passing a post-offer/pre-employment physical capacities assessment.
- Offers of employment contingent upon completion of a satisfactory criminal background check.
