Job Summary
Electronics Security Systems Engineer role focused on installing, configuring, and commissioning CCTV, intruder and fire alarm systems, access control, and automation (gates, barriers, doors). On-site and remote technical support, preventative maintenance, and thorough documentation are required, with adherence to British Standards and Health & Safety. Travel across the UK and weekly on-call rotations are part of the position. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Hikvision, Paxton, Texecom, Orisec, Pyronix, and Honeywell, strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, excellent customer service, and solid English communication. Strong time management and administration skills, and knowledge of networked security systems are essential. Required Qualifications
- Proven experience installing and maintaining CCTV, Access Control, Intruder and Fire Alarm systems
- Hands-on knowledge of security systems including Hikvision, Paxton, Texecom, Orisec, Pyronix, and Honeywell
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Good spoken and written English
- Knowledge of networked security systems and British Standards
- Understanding of Health & Safety practices
