Job Summary
Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) to component level, performing fault diagnosis and maintaining test systems. Conduct fine-pitch hot air soldering on multi-layered boards and miniature surface-mount components while interpreting electronic circuit diagrams. Utilize test and measurement equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes, for fault analysis and assist in component selection and ordering. Ensure all work is performed in an ESD-safe environment. This role requires an NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Electronics or Mechatronics and hands-on experience in soldering and PCB repair. Candidates must be willing to work on a shift basis as part of the production support schedule. Required Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 (or equivalent) in Electronics or Mechatronics from a recognized institute
- Strong practical knowledge of electronic systems, circuit analysis, and fault diagnosis
- Hands-on experience in soldering, rework, and repair of PCB assemblies
- Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
- Willingness to work on a shift basis as part of the production support schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in an electronics manufacturing or repair environment
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, email, and internet applications
- Age between 20–35 years
