Job Summary
Diagnose faults and repair customer warranty returns and production units, including bench testing and production (MTS) verification. Analyze failures to identify root causes at the component level regarding design, process, or component issues, and produce repair analysis reports. Develop and maintain warranty repair operating procedures while managing backlogs with the Repairs manager. Support Test Resources, Production, and Development teams through test procedures and assist the Quality team in determining failure trends. Organize workshop workflow, maintain general state of tidiness, and support remote warranty activities across India, USA, and Brazil.
Required Qualifications
- Fault Finding to component level, and repair of PCBA's
- Ability to operate under own initiative
- Strong team working skills
- Ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to work at a high level of concentration and commitment
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Micro & Analogue Electronic principles
- Working safely in a workshop environment
- Confident IT skills, both Microsoft word / Excel / Outlook and Epicor ERP system
- Relevant Industrial On-the-Job Training
- Maths & English GCSE or similar
