Job Summary
Provide engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, including internal and external resources and customers. Develop statements of work to satisfy research and development, ongoing, and new business requirements. Create new and follow-on concepts to expand product or services lines. Anticipate change and organize processes and resources to proactively respond. Identify performance metrics and ensure work, project breakdown structure, schedule, and resource loading are completed. Develop and communicate responsibility, authority, and accountability to define team members' roles. Lead project execution to complete work statements and incorporate lessons learned into strategic process improvements. Present outcomes, assessments, and corrective action initiatives to Boeing management. Requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance and Level 5 or 6 experience leading large design, integration, and test teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Lead (Level 5): 14+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 14+ years of experience leading engineering teams
- 5+ years of experience leading large design, integration, and test teams
- Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
- Subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies
- Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
- A 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements
