Job Summary
SMT Programmer responsible for creating, updating and maintaining SMT programs for AOI and SPI machines, transferring programs from database to SMT equipment, and ensuring ECOs are implemented. Reads work instructions and adheres to company standards; performs defect analyses and root-cause investigations; uses Panasonic data generation software, Mentor Graphics PCB design software, Gerber viewers/editing tools, and Koh Young AOI/SPI equipment. This full-time, in-person role operates on a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule at Quintech Electronics in Indiana, PA, with potential overtime. Requires strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of SMT manufacturing processes and IPC SMT standards.
