Job Summary
Create and maintain schematics, assemble and troubleshoot prototypes, and perform soldering rework on electronic assemblies. Execute system setup and troubleshooting for EMC, Safety, and Environmental testing while generating data and completing test reports. Utilize basic electronic tools including power sources, oscilloscopes, and analyzers to validate new product development projects. Work independently in a lab environment to support Emerson's innovation and diverse team goals.
Required Qualifications
- AAS in Electronics Technician Specialization or equivalent experience
- Experience building, troubleshooting, and validating electromechanical systems
- Familiarity with electronics hardware and basic electronics tools
- Experience using Microsoft Office365 suite
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using LabVIEW for measurements and automation
- Experience testing for CE, Safety and Environmental certification
- Experience with test and measurement equipment calibration
