Electronics Hardware Engineer (m/f/d)

Job Summary
Design and develop PCBAs for UAV platforms, including schematics and layout; prototype and test electronic systems; collaborate with embedded software engineers for hardware/software integration; maintain hardware docs and component library; participate in hardware reviews with focus on robustness, manufacturability, and EMI mitigation; work with manufacturing partners to enable DFM and production readiness; requires degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 2–3 years hands-on electronics experience; candidates should be proficient with PCB tools (Altium, KiCad) and have knowledge of analog/digital circuits, power management, embedded systems, and hardware testing; English is required and German is beneficial; hybrid/work model is mentioned as in-person in Munich, Germany.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 2–3 years hands-on electronics development
- Schematic capture and PCB layout experience (Altium Designer or KiCad)
- Analog and digital circuit design knowledge
- Power management expertise
- Embedded systems knowledge
- Familiarity with EWIS
- Experience with radio/data link modules and wireless systems
- Embedded programming (C/C++) is a plus
- Lab equipment proficiency (oscilloscopes, multimeters)
- Fluent in English; German beneficial
Desired Qualifications
