Job Summary
On-site Electronics Equipment Technician II supporting FAA NAS; performs preventative and corrective maintenance, system installation/removal/configuration, troubleshooting, inventory and quality management support. Supports FAA Academy Educational Audio/Visual Technology systems, including classroom computers, network switches, A/V routers, ATV Carts, Video Teleconference equipment, and electronic door locks. Requires the ability to obtain FAA Public Trust Clearance. High school diploma/GED or Associate’s degree with relevant experience; minimum 3 years (or 2 years with an Associate’s). Strong electronics knowledge and basic computer skills; proficiency with oscilloscopes, digital volt/ohm meters, and test equipment; capable of building/repairing cables and configuring AV/network hardware. On-site in Oklahoma City, OK; federal contractor with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with minimum three (3) years relevant experience; or Associates degree with minimum two (2) years relevant experience;
- Possess a high degree of electronic knowledge;
- Basic computer skills;
- Experience with Audio/Visuals;
- Cable Building and Testing experience;
- Ability to troubleshoot simple electronic circuits;
- Ability to build and repair cables for interconnection between audiovisual components;
- Ability to configure network switches, A/V routers, and ATV Carts;
- Ability to work on-site in FAA Academy environment;
- Ability to obtain FAA Public Trust Clearance
