Job Summary
The Electronics Equipment Technician II provides technical support including preventative and corrective maintenance, system installation, troubleshooting, and inventory management. Requires a high school diploma or GED with relevant experience, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education degree (GED)
- Minimum three (3) years relevant experience or Associates degree with two (2) years relevant experience
- Possession of or ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- High degree of electronic knowledge
Desired Qualifications
- Radar training and experience working on active radars
- Military training i.e. AN/MPQ's AN/MJQ
- Ku Radio Frequency System (KRFS) fire control radar
- Forward Area Air Defense (FAAD) systems
- Air and Missile Defense Workstations (AMDWS)
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
