Job Summary
Conduct highly skilled surface-mount and plated-through-hole hand soldering and rework while interpreting schematics and technical drawings. Fabricate cables and breakout boxes using hand and power tools to produce high-quality prototypes based on engineering specifications. Perform electronic testing and debugging with multimeters and X-ray machines, alongside preventative maintenance on various equipment. Develop operational procedures and execute additional duties as assigned. Requires 3-10 years of electronics experience, IPC certifications, and active Secret Security clearance. Some overtime and occasional travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with fine pitch surface mount soldering and cable assemblies
- Experience with wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and soldering
- U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Security clearance and ability to maintain the designated security clearance level
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Participation in a skills‐based assessment
- Must be a self‐starter capable of working independently or as part of a cohesive team
- Candidate should be dynamic, highly motivated, and able to demonstrate strong technical and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Technical training in a related field from an accredited institution
- IPC‐A‐610, J‐STD‐001, and IPC‐A‐620 certifications
- 3-10 years of experience in an electronics‐related field
