Job Summary
Electronics Engineering Technician responsible for end-to-end electronics development support for battery electronics, lab management, and hands-on assembly, testing, calibration, and prototype delivery across the development cycle. Key duties include SMT assembly and repair, board-level testing with oscilloscopes and other test equipment, reading engineering drawings and schematics, managing lab equipment and inventory, and coordinating prototype builds and test reports.
Required Qualifications
- AAS in Electrical or Electronic Engineering / Engineering Technology — or similar military technical training
- 5+ years of related experience in a similar field
- Surface-mount electronics assembly and repair experience
- Understanding of engineering drawings and electronics schematics
- Experience with crimping and soldering
- Ability to follow work instructions and test plans, perform tests and procedures, and write test reports
- Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, and multimeters
- Fundamental understanding of software and hardware test tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with basic use of machine tool equipment
- Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and excellent organization skills
