Job Summary
Lead hardware architecture and system-level design across multiple product generations for electronics in access control and locking products. Own schematic capture, component selection, PCB layout guidance, DFMEA reviews, and design validation planning. Design circuits including low-power microcontroller subsystems, sensors, power supplies, battery-powered systems, RFID/BLE/NFC front-ends, and electro-mechanical drive circuits. Ensure hardware is optimized for manufacturability, cost, low power consumption, RF performance, and long-term reliability. Collaborate with firmware teams on board bring-up, interface definition, debugging, and performance tuning. Drive compliance and certification activities (FCC/IC, UL, EMC/ESD, environmental testing). This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 8+ years hands-on electronics design experience, strong digital/analog circuit design, MCU-based systems experience, and proficiency with schematic/PCB tools. The position emphasizes leadership across disciplines, collaboration with global teams, and delivering certifiable hardware."
