Job Summary
Manufacture, install, and repair electromechanical assemblies and systems for onshore and offshore projects, including subsea wiring, testing, and tone injection installation. Manage spare lists inventory and order electrical parts via SAP ERP while utilizing calibration equipment for diagnostics. Support troubleshooting activities and collaborate with field technicians to assist supervisors in achieving project results. Provide input for process improvements and participate in project mobilizations as requested.
Required Qualifications
- Advance training in Electronics, technical trade schools etc.
- Must have an electrical or electronics background
- 1-2 years proven experience in manufacture, wiring and troubleshooting of electronic devices
- Clear and effective oral and written communication skills in English language
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Fiber equipment such as Fusion Splicers and Optical Measuring systems will be considered as an advantage (i.e. OTDR)
- Experience in Serial/Ethernet Communication protocols and devices will be considered as an advantage (i.e. RS232, RS485)
- Experience in video multiplexing systems (i.e Video Matrix, Quad , KVM ) will be considered as an advantage
- Experience with Electronics & Electrical system applications and implementation will be an asset
