Job Summary
Electronics Engineer for full-time hardware electronics role in our R&D team focusing on embedded systems for high-speed data acquisition devices. Responsibilities include system engineering and architecture for high-speed embedded systems and MEA-based products; designing PCBs with high-speed ADCs, microcontrollers and FPGA-SoMs; bring-up, testing, characterization and validation; development of production test tools; making, assembling, debugging, and testing demonstrators/prototypes; and comprehensive documentation across engineering, production, and QA. Requirements include a BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, at least 3 years of HW design experience, proficiency in analog and high-speed digital design, PCB manufacturing, EMC compliance, hands-on prototyping, basic signal processing knowledge, and fluency in English. The role is located in Pfäffikon SZ, Switzerland (in-person). The company operates globally with offices/units in Switzerland, Italy, and the US.
Required Qualifications
- BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in HW Design
- Design of analog electronics and high-speed digital systems (Simulation, Schematics, HDI Layout)
- Detailed understanding of PCB-manufacturing
- Good understanding of EMC compliance and mechanical integration
- Practical and industrial hands-on experience (prototype soldering, test-benches, transfer and scale-up to mass production)
- Prototyping and testing (bring-up, debugging, production)
- Background in basic signal processing (sampling, filtering, aliasing)
- Fluency in English
- Independence and ability to communicate in multicultural environment
