Job Summary
Lead IoT and digital product development initiatives across the SWM Electronics portfolio, driving end-to-end PCBA design, embedded firmware development, and hardware-software integration. Build and scale the organization's in-house electronics development capability while partnering with EMS contractors and external vendors to support development, validation, and production readiness. Support technical decision-making, component sourcing, and certification readiness for electronic products, guiding connected product development including BLE, Wi-Fi, and cloud connectivity. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to ensure successful product integration and value delivery. Requires a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and 10+ years of experience in electronics R&D.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in electronics R&D, embedded systems or hardware-software integration
- Strong hands-on experience leading PCBA design, firmware development and electronic component sourcing
- Proven track record of building in-house electronics capability or transitioning development from outsourced to internally owned models
- Experience managing EMS contractors, electronics partners and regulatory certification processes, including CE, FCC, EMC and RoHS
- Proven experience working in a global, cross-functional environment with international stakeholders
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
