Job Summary
Lead the design and development of hardware components for electrical systems in the rail industry, including circuits, enclosures, and wiring for challenging environments; design and implement electrical schematics and control-system hardware/software changes; source and integrate third-party components, validate sensors/actuators, and document technical work using JIRA/Confluence; perform on-site control system and locomotive commissioning at globally located rail yards and provide technical/customer support for product applications; collaborate across cross-functional teams, demonstrate strong technical writing, and travel internationally as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of system integration experience
- Related degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Control or Electronic
- Experienced performing FMEAs
- Knowledge of electrical schematics and development
- Potential ability to travel internationally
