Job Summary
Carry out concept investigations and studies of future solutions, designs, and architectures for vehicle electronic and sensor systems. Design circuit boards with components such as FPGA/SoC, DDR memory, and ADC/DAC alongside colleagues in microwave, power electronics, and mechanical design. Participate in requirements breakdown, then test and verify design function and performance in the lab while troubleshooting and providing support during testing and integration. Work as a senior consultant on complex assignments requiring a university degree in engineering and industrial experience with CAD tools like Cadence.
Required Qualifications
- A university degree, M.Sc. in Engineering, Licentiate, or Ph.D. in a relevant field
- A few years of experience in the detailed design of advanced digital circuit boards with components such as FPGA/SoC, DDR memory, ADC/DAC, opto, etc., as well as local power converters
- Industrial experience with CAD, preferably Cadence, Mentor, or similar
- A strong ability to express yourself in both speech and writing, in Swedish as well as English
- Working as a Consultant at Etteplan
