Job Summary
Electronics Assembly & Repair Technician needed in St. Catharines, ON to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and assist with assembly and testing of electronic/electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing electronic and electrical assemblies, testing and fault isolation on returned/non-functioning equipment, interpreting schematics and assembly documentation, assisting with mechanical/electronic product assembly during slower repair periods, collaborating with production teams, maintaining records, supporting continuous improvement in assembly quality and troubleshooting efficiency, ensuring compliance with safety and manufacturing standards, and assisting with inspections, testing, and final verification. Ideal candidates have hands-on electronics assembly, troubleshooting, repair, or maintenance experience in a manufacturing or technical environment; strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills; ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams; and a technical diploma or related education (asset). Comfortable with hand tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic instruments; capable of working independently and in a team; experience in low-volume, highly customized manufacturing is an asset. Positive attitude and adaptability for a growing organization.
