Job Summary
Lead a small team of electronic assemblers as a hands-on Production Supervisor, overseeing daily manufacturing operations and actively participating in assembly activities. Drive production efficiency, ensure adherence to quality standards, mentor staff, and coordinate with Procurement, Shipping, and Engineering to meet production objectives and customer delivery requirements. Performs precision soldering and assembly, reads technical drawings and BOMs, troubleshoots issues, conducts in-process and final inspections, maintains equipment and workstations, and supports continuous process improvements through cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, Shipping, and Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic assembly manufacturing, including supervisory, lead, or team leadership responsibilities
- Strong hands-on experience with soldering, wiring, mechanical assembly, and electro-mechanical assembly operations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, assembly instructions, bills of materials, and manufacturing documentation
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience directing, mentoring, or coordinating small production teams
- Working knowledge of quality control processes, IPC standards, and manufacturing best practices
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize workload and manage multiple production demands in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- IPC certification or equivalent industry training
