Electronics Assembler I (hourly/part-time ONSITE)

Job Summary
Assemble electronic components according to detailed work instructions, schematics, and technical drawings by carefully handling parts such as resistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits. Use soldering irons to join components to PCBs and wire harness assemblies, and perform wiring tasks using crimping and soldering methods. Assemble various parts using hand tools and machinery to create finished products or sub-assemblies while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Work closely with engineering and quality control teams to ensure smooth workflows and provide feedback on production processes. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. This hourly/part-time onsite role is based at our Weidman, MI facility, with a 401(k) matching plan and health benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-1 years of experience in Electronics Assembly
- Attention to detail
- Dexterity in small part assembly
- Clear communication, ability to follow both verbal and written instructions
- Demonstrates good communication skills, teamwork and willingness to learn
- Good time management
- Knowledgeable with hand tools, screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, power drills, etc.
- Basic computer skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong work ethic pursuing a high standard of excellence
- Work outside normal business hours may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Technical or vocational is a plus
- Completion of a technical program or an associate's degree in electronics engineering, or similar work experience is a plus
- Soldering, preferred but not required
