Job Summary
Execute panel preassembly in accordance with EMIT standards, verify component installation, and perform self-inspections to ensure work meets engineering and quality requirements. Palletize finished panels by selecting correct pallets, applying protective bagging, and completing final inspections before releasing product. Organize and maintain Work-In-Process inventory using FIFO principles while receiving product from Break & Coat and stocking packaging materials. Safely operate overhead cranes and lifting devices, inspect equipment before use, and immediately report unsafe conditions, quality discrepancies, or production concerns. Maintain clean work areas in accordance with 5S standards and identify improvements to reduce waste and enhance production flow.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to safely lift 50–75 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive physical tasks for the duration of the workday
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality issues and labeling discrepancies
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work to support production schedules
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety, including proper PPE usage and adherence to all safety procedures
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic with a focus on supporting production objectives
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly

- Always use applicable PPE
- Follow safety protocols when using tools and handling materials
- Maintain current EMIT Overhead Crane Operator Certification
- Ability to read and identify Manufacturing Orders (MO), labels, and production documentation
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing, fabrication, production, or general labor experience preferred
