Job Summary

Develop Electromagnetic Spectrum Emissions Control Subject Matter Expertise to direct operational support for expeditionary wings, implementing Signature Management and EMCON Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures at the tactical level. Manage ground-ops EMCON planning, shape friendly EMS footprints, and integrate new METs/DLOs into DRRS and LFE constructs while serving as an emissary to translate complex OPSEC and MILDEC concepts into practical guidance. Build, maintain, and update information systems, coordinate special projects, and manage official classified media in accordance with regulations. Support readiness activities by preparing Status of Resources and Training Systems and Defense Readiness Reporting System reports, developing Unit Training Codes, and coordinating Global Force Management allocations and deployment orders. Conduct deliberate planning using Joint Operation Planning and Execution System for crisis actions and assist in establishing policy for operations training devices and simulator certification programs. Collaborate with program managers and functional area managers to develop EW/EMS training, range policy, and operational instructions, while preparing responses to the Joint Requirements Oversight Council and supporting modernization planning across Major Commands.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Eight (8) years of operational mission experience as rated aircrew operating EW Systems in DoD aircraft
  • Five (5) years of operational experience integrating EW, cyber, Informational Operations, space and ISR effects
  • Five (5) years of experience managing DoD aircraft EW Systems or related operations programs
  • Two (2) years of staff experience managing EW and EMS programs at the Wing level or higher
  • Graduate of 563rd Flying Training Squadron (Randolph), 453rd Flying Training Squadron (Mather), or 479th Flying Training Group (Pensacola)
  • Strong technical and conversational proficiency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing
