Job Summary
Manage cost, schedule, technical, and risk for high reliability electronic unit hardware development and delivery. Develop Earned Value baselines and status plans, define resources from engineering, operations, and suppliers to build cross-functional teams for design and delivery. Coordinate with programs to optimize production pipelines and support weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting cycles. Perform unit sell-offs, project close-outs, and document lessons learned for future roadmaps. Requires current Tier 5 security clearance, Bachelor's degree, and 5+ years in military or space electronics. 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA with up to 10% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or higher in a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion
- 5+ years of experience working with military or space electronics
- 5+ years of experience working in ambiguous and fast changing environments
- Current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program
- Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements
- U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a CAM (cost account manager) using EVM (earned value management)
- Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
