Job Summary
Detail-oriented Test Technician to support the testing, validation, and quality assurance of cabin management products. Responsibilities include conducting testing procedures, programming, troubleshooting, and acceptance test evaluations; verifying product functionality and performance prior to release; documenting results accurately; maintaining testing equipment; collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and company quality standards; maintaining detailed records and generating reports; and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Required skills include soldering (through hole and surface mount), proficiency with testing and soldering equipment, ability to read schematics/diagrams/assembly instructions, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and effective communication in a collaborative, on-site manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience soldering electronic components in a manufacturing, assembly, or electronics environment
- Knowledge of through hole and surface mount soldering techniques
- Proficiency with testing equipment, soldering equipment, and related tools
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and process improvement
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, diagrams, and assembly instructions
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Basic computer skills for data entry, reporting, and documentation
