Job Summary
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and rework electronic and electrical systems of precision machine tools and other manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with OEM specifications. Troubleshoot communication protocols between machine tools and production systems. Use open computing architecture to diagnose issues in integrated systems and write/edit maintenance programs supporting alignments and ballbars. Develop test programs for repeatability and accuracy; comply with FAA and accreditation requirements; collaborate with Management, Engineering, Equipment Manufacturers, and Vendors; maintain equipment records and prepare reports. Position is 100% onsite in WA with potential relocation based on eligibility; requires knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Boolean, ladder, C+, C++), electronic theory, computer and networking concepts, and use of test equipment. U.S. citizenship/US Person required for export control; shift variability and safety/regulatory compliance are noted.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of electronic/electrical experience in machine tool maintenance or related fields
- 1+ years' experience troubleshooting PLCs or equivalent control systems
- Ability to work at heights up to 125 feet and pass Fall Protection Training
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Relocation eligibility may apply
