Job Summary
Electronics Service Technician II responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing RF communication products including mobile and portable land mobile radios (LMR); set up and conduct tests to verify compliance with company standards; utilize test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators); perform firmware updates, alignments, and component-level repairs; document service activities and parts usage; maintain ISO quality control; support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement; provide technical support to customers via email/phone; work in a production environment with ESD procedures; OJT and teamwork with a production group; occasional travel within the facility; requires strong RF theory knowledge, PCB soldering, schematic/datasheet interpretation, and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree from an accredited institution
- Experience: 3–5 years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL) a plus
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
