Job Summary
Support Technician I and II team members on-site to install, service, and troubleshoot electronic security systems including access control, intrusion detection, and network infrastructure. Read blueprints and schematics to perform conduit and cable installation, while configuring systems and integrating networks. Provide advanced diagnostics for system failures, maintain tool inventory, and deliver on-site customer training. Ensure all project timelines, quality, and compliance standards are met while adhering to safety protocols. This contingent position requires 5+ years of experience in electronic security and the ability to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in electronic security systems or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of IP-based security solutions and system integration
- Demonstrate working knowledge of low-voltage wiring, IP networks, and alarm systems
- Exhibit the ability to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites
- Showcase strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook
