Job Summary
Install and service electronic security systems including access control, intrusion detection, and network infrastructure according to project specifications. Support Technician I and II team members on-site while troubleshooting system failures, performing advanced diagnostics, and providing customer training. Read blueprints and schematics to execute conduit, cable, and component installations such as security panels and card readers. Ensure project timelines, quality, and compliance standards are met while maintaining proper inventory of tools and equipment. Comply with safety protocols and quality standards throughout the role. This contingent position requires 5+ years of experience in electronic security systems, extensive knowledge of IP-based solutions, and the ability to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in electronic security systems or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of IP-based security solutions and system integration
- Demonstrate working knowledge of low-voltage wiring, IP networks, and alarm systems
- Exhibit the ability to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites
- Showcase strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook
