Job Summary
Support Technician I and II team members on-site while ensuring project timelines, quality, and compliance standards are met. Install and service electronic security systems including access control, intrusion detection, and infrastructure according to specifications and codes. Read blueprints and schematics to perform conduit, cable installation, and termination. Troubleshoot system failures, provide advanced diagnostics, assist in configuration, and offer on-site customer training. Maintain proper inventory of tools and equipment while complying with safety protocols. This contingent role requires 5+ years of experience in electronic security, extensive knowledge of IP-based solutions, and the ability to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in electronic security systems or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of IP-based security solutions and system integration
- Demonstrate working knowledge of low-voltage wiring, IP networks, and alarm systems
- Exhibit the ability to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites
- Showcase strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook
