Job Summary
Support Technician I and II team members on-site to ensure project timelines, quality, and compliance standards are met. Install and service electronic security systems including access control, intrusion detection, and infrastructure according to specifications. Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics while performing conduit, cable installation, and termination. Troubleshoot system failures and provide advanced diagnostics, then assist in system configuration and network integration. Maintain proper inventory of tools, equipment, and materials while providing on-site customer training and support. Comply with safety protocols and quality standards. This contingent position requires 5+ years of experience in electronic security systems, extensive knowledge of IP-based solutions, and the ability to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites. Lenel certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in electronic security systems or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of IP-based security solutions and system integration
- Demonstrate working knowledge of low-voltage wiring, IP networks, and alarm systems
- Exhibit the ability to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites
- Showcase strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook
