Job Summary

Perform electrical assembly, wiring, and installation work on products using detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and job specifications. Conduct electrical testing and troubleshooting on in-process and completed assemblies to resolve production issues as they arise. Read and interpret electrical diagrams to guide precise assembly, while inspecting work against quality and specification requirements. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with Assembly, Engineering, and Quality teams to support continuous production flow. This role requires proficiency with electrical hand tools and test equipment, including a multimeter, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. Candidates must complete annual training on AS9100 quality systems and ITAR/Export Compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Hands-on electrical wiring and assembly experience
  • Proficiency using electrical hand tools and test equipment, including a multimeter
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform precise work to documented requirements and tolerances
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical and wiring problems independently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment where priorities can shift based on business needs
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn company production documentation systems
  • Willingness to complete required annual training, including AS9100 quality system requirements and ITAR/Export Compliance
  • Candidates must meet security screening requirements as set out by ITAR directives

Desired Qualifications

  • Aerospace and defense manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Electro-mechanical assembly experience is a plus
  • Soldering and/or crimping experience, along with related certifications (e.g., IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC J-STD-001), is a plus
  • Experience working within AS9100 or another regulated quality environment is a plus
  • Previous electrical testing and troubleshooting experience is a plus
