Job Summary

Perform first-level electronic maintenance, testing, and repair on hotel systems and equipment to ensure reliability and guest satisfaction. Install, troubleshoot, and restore components in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities using hand tools and precision instruments. Conduct diagnostic tests on HVAC controls, lighting systems, and security equipment while documenting all interventions and reporting anomalies or safety concerns. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations during peak occupancy, escalating complex issues to senior technicians when necessary. Maintain a safe work environment compliant with hotel standards and support operational excellence through adherence to established protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 (or equivalent) in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute
  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as an Electronics Technician in a luxury hospitality environment or 5-star hotel setting
  • Strong practical knowledge of hotel electronic systems, including HVAC controls, lighting systems, security equipment, and guest room technology
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electronic components and systems
  • Proficiency with diagnostic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized hotel system diagnostic tools
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency situations
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and prioritize guest satisfaction
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to discretion and professionalism in a luxury hotel environment
  • English & Arabic Speaker preferably

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and hotel maintenance management systems is preferred
  • Knowledge of hotel safety standards, compliance regulations, and guest service protocols is highly desirable
  • Certification in hospitality maintenance or hotel systems management is an added advantage
  • Age between 22–40 years is desirable
