Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic circuitries down to the component level while performing mechanical and electronic assembly of products, including hand soldering on circuit board assemblies. Conduct detailed troubleshooting root cause analysis on instrument cluster repairs to ensure products function per company and manufacturer specifications. Utilize a DVM, Oscilloscope, and other technical equipment to read and work from electronic schematics, focusing on fine-pitch components requiring tight precision soldering. This role requires two years of experience in electronic circuitry repair and knowledge of common electronic and electro-mechanical components. Required Qualifications
- minimum of two years' experience in the diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair of electronic circuitry
- Be able to work with team members and follow guidelines
- Ability to work on fine-pitch components where tight precision soldering is required
- Be knowledgeable about common electronic and electro-mechanical components and be able to assist in the selection and procurement of parts and materials
- Ability to read and work from electronic schematics
- Able to use a DVM, Oscilloscope, and other technical equipment
- Certifications in J-Standard 001/ IPC-A-610 (Preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Understanding of ESD practices
