Job Summary
Electronic Systems Technician responsible for installation and/or servicing residential systems and small to mid-sized commercial accounts, including basic wiring, panel programming, system set-up, and customer explanations; responsibilities include accurate, supervised installations/servicing, basic troubleshooting, flagging and correcting errors in work and paperwork, maintaining professionalism with peers and customers, and training/mentoring Entry Level technicians with on-site review and corrective feedback.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent - required
- 1 - 3 years of industry experience - preferred
- Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving history
- Certified Alarm Technician level 1 or equivalent - preferred
- Completion of minimum training/certification checklist required per Technician Career Path
- Must be able to effectively communicate with various individuals in a professional manner in order to provide superior customer service
- Must be able to understand technical functionality of various systems learned on-line and/or via hands-on instruction
