Job Summary
Investigate product software problems, understand causal mechanisms, and recommend actions while owning resolution and documenting results. Develop specifications, design, implement, test, and release software that controls Cummins product operations across various customer applications. Collaborate with cross-functional product and software development teams to deliver verified features, components, and builds. Apply and support improvements to development processes and tools including coding, compiling, static analysis, and hardware-in-the-loop testing. Make decisions on software requirements, architecture, design, and test impacting build quality and cross-BU integration. Own problem resolution for moderately complex components with increasing technical ambiguity as experience grows. Provide independent execution of established work processes while developing technology proficiency and engaging in system improvements.
