Job Summary
Diagnose electrical and electronic malfunctions; replace or repair defective components and control modules. Interpret technical drawings, electrical codes, and work orders to reassemble, test, and verify equipment under operating conditions. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime while installing conduit, pulling wiring, fabricating harnesses, and building control panels. Utilize precision measuring instruments and diagnostic tools to wire complex units and install auxiliary controls. Operate hand tools, power tools, bending equipment, and material handling devices safely. Maintain Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash, and ESD certifications. Work the 1st shift at the York, PA Grantley Plant location.
Required Qualifications
- Must obtain and maintain Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) certification
- Must obtain and maintain Arc Flash certification
- Must obtain and maintain ESD certification
- Must obtain and maintain Man lift Training certification
- Must obtain and maintain Forklift Training certification
- Knowledge of electrical codes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and precision measuring instruments
- Knowledge of frequency drives and PLC ladder logic
- Skilled in wiring, conduit installation, and control panel assembly
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical/electronic installation and repair in an industrial setting
