Electronic Security Technician (Level II)

Job Summary
Electronic Security Technician (Level II) responsible for installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting of CCTV, access control, and intrusion-detection systems, including cabling and related equipment. Work with low voltage cables, cable trays, panels, and enclosures, following plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. The role includes ensuring safety compliance, coordinating with project management, training owner-operators, documenting system operation, and guiding entry-level personnel. Required to travel up to 85%, read and interpret plans, and prefer certifications or training in fiber and networks; proficiency with Windows/Microsoft applications is strongly preferred. Emphasizes teamwork, field deployment, and on-site commissioning across multiple security technologies (e.g., AMAG, Bosch, DMP, Gallagher, Hirsch, Lenel).
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years direct work experience with electronic security systems and installation
- 2 years experience reading plans and specifications
- 2 years hands-on experience commissioning and programming security or access control systems (AMAG, Bosch, DMP, Gallagher, Hirsch, Lenel, etc.)
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work at heights up to 60 feet
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for company vehicle eligibility
- Pass and maintain USG security clearance/background check
