Job Summary
Electronic Security Systems Technician role involving troubleshooting, component replacement, wiring, and testing of security equipment (CCTV/IP cameras, access control, intrusion panels) with hands-on installation, cabling, and system verification. Requires collaboration within a small team, ability to climb ladders, operate hand/power tools, lift 25–40 pounds, and perform tasks in overhead work positions. Preferred credentials include Secret Clearance and OEM factory training from Identiv, Bosch, and/or Cisco; travel around 10%. Core responsibilities include installation per IDP, functional testing, diagnosing malfunctions, labeling, and contributing to a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree and 5 years of experience; or High School diploma/GED and an equivalent combination (additional 4 years) of related training and experience in lieu of degree.
- Four (4) years of practical experience with electronic security systems maintenance and installation.
