Electronic Security Systems Technician III

Job Summary
Perform on-demand services, inventory tracking, and preventive maintenance on electronic security systems including physical access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and life safety devices across 220 Southern USMS facilities. Operate trucks, hand tools, power tools, and aerial lifts to test, calibrate, and repair control systems while maintaining activity logs and preparing field reports. Handle nonroutine labor tasks involving lifting 30+ pounds and working in confined spaces or inclement weather. Requires US citizenship, three years of security systems experience, valid driver's license, and ability to work on-call after hours, weekends, and holidays. This role supports the Federal Solutions team, delivering mission-critical security solutions for defense and intelligence customers.
Required Qualifications
- US citizenship
- 3+ years of experience working on security systems
- Willing to travel up to three hours to answer service tickets
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work at high elevations
- Lift and carry 30+ pounds
- Pull, stand, and work in confined spaces; crouch for long periods of time; and work under inclement cold weather conditions
- Ability to pass Tier 2 background check/DOJ background check prior to beginning work
- Ability to be on-call after hours, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant background in low voltage electronics, physical security, access control, maintenance, and repair activities
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Current manufacturer certifications for Commend - Core Level Certification, Radionix (formerly Bosch) - G Series, IQ Sight (formerly Bosch) - BVMS, Hirsch - Velocity
