Job Summary
Install electronic security systems, including alarms, cameras, digital video recorders, and access control, in both new construction and retro-fit environments. Assist with bank-specific equipment installation such as safes, vaults, ATMs, and cash dispensers. Operate hoists, lifts, and forklifts to position equipment while driving vehicles to site locations for up to 6 hours daily. Perform service on electronic systems and bank equipment as required, adapting to a constantly changing schedule that includes up to 70% travel and overnight work. Complete all paperwork and timesheets accurately.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience installing or servicing electronic security systems
- Self-starter
- Ability to work independently
- Problem solving and provide solutions
- Construction background
- Adapt well to a constantly changing schedule
- Flexibility with scheduling
- Must be able to travel overnight on a weekly basis
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Thorough knowledge of basic electronics
- Circuitry knowledge
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Construction and Rigging experience
- Experience in Honeywell, AMAG, DMP alarm and card access systems
- Experience in Verint and March NVR's systems
- Ability to operate hoists, lifts and forklifts
- Must be able to use a computer
- Able to properly lift 50 pounds or less frequently, 100 pounds or less occasionally
- Able to move 50 pounds or less frequently, 100 pounds or less occasionally
- Able to push/pull objects with moderate effort frequently
- Able to sit and/or stand 2 hours continuously, up to 8 hours per day
- Able to remain on feet for 2 hours continuously
- Able to manipulate small objects with close eye-hand and arm-hand coordination
- Able to perform motor skills such as grasping, finger manipulation, pinching, bending, reaching out, twisting, turning, reaching up, wrist turning/torqueing
- Able to effectively communicate with customer base, both orally and in writing
- Able to see objects closely, discriminate colors, perceive depth
- Able to understand, relate to, and apply concepts
- Able to remember multiple tasks / assignments given to self and others over long periods of time
- Valid driver's license
- Automobile insurance
- Own transportation
- Able to climb ladders up to 20 feet high
Desired Qualifications
- A construction background will be beneficial to understand how to adapt our equipment without creating conflicts with other trades
- Construction and Rigging experience a plus
- Experience in Honeywell, AMAG, DMP alarm and card access systems is a plus
- Experience in Verint and March NVR's systems is a plus
