Job Summary
Install and configure low-voltage cabling for Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, and intercom systems; install and terminate copper and fiber-optic cabling infrastructure; install and configure electronic security equipment, control panels, devices, and supporting hardware; mount cameras and related equipment; perform testing, troubleshooting, and corrective actions; travel to project sites and support installations nationwide; read and follow project drawings and specifications; ensure safety and quality while maintaining documentation and progress. 3+ years of experience in electronic security or related technical fields; strong troubleshooting, communication, and ability to work independently; valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50%; ability to obtain federal government security clearance; English proficiency; background screening required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent technical training
- 3+ years of experience in electronic security systems, low-voltage systems, or related technical fields
- Knowledge of low-voltage wiring, installation practices, and industry standards
- Ability to read and follow project drawings, specifications, and installation instructions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide and safely use basic hand tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Ability to obtain a federal government security clearance
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Must pass background screening requirements
