Job Summary
Troubleshoot electronic circuit boards using schematics, desolder faulty components, and solder replacements at both SMD and THD levels. Collaborate with remanufacturing teammates to refurbish electronic controllers for the mobile refrigeration industry, ensuring units are clean and free of corrosion or cosmetic flaws. Maintain ISO 9001:2015 quality, safety, and ESD control standards while performing digital and analog testing with tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes. Requires one year of prior electronic repair experience and the ability to read schematics; pay range is $20-$27. Join a small, diverse team of 30 dedicated to rebuilding the past and developing the future in refrigerated transport electronics.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree
- Familiarity with testing tools including, but not limited to: Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Function generator and basic hand tools
- Ability to perform both digital and analog testing on electronic equipment
- Read and understand schematics and wiring diagrams
- Follow process work instructions and/or drawings
- Ability to use a computer for data logging and to run diagnostic test on units under repair
- Previous experience in electronic repair: Minimum 1 Year
Desired Qualifications
- An associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus
