Job Summary

The Electronic Project Test Engineer will play a key role in the New Product Development team, conducting electronic and component design reviews, developing test plans, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience in electronic engineering, familiarity with fitness products, and proficiency in system design and analysis. Responsibilities include creating test protocols, analyzing data, and collaborating with global teams on design and testing processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of electronic engineering
  • Expertise with engineering electronics, system design, analysis, debugging, and validation
  • Experience with ESD, EMC/EMI requirements, power management and mitigation techniques
  • Experience with embedded system integration and best practices
  • Proficiency with circuit design, motor and driver system, communication protocols, generator, battery charging, electro-mechanical control systems, and data acquisition
  • Demonstrable experience designing components ensuring products meet safety standards
  • Strong FEA, DFMEA, test plan development and execution skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well with numerous diverse groups and individuals

Additional Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally each quarter
  • Ability and willingness for non-business hours communication and calls with overseas teams
