Electronic Project Engineer

Job Summary
The Electronic Project Engineer will coordinate a cross-functional, global project team to manage multiple projects through Johnson’s Key Technology and New Product Development processes, ensuring that design, quality, cost, and schedule requirements are met. Responsibilities include acting as Project Manager for engineering tests, leading design reviews, developing specifications, and supporting production transitions into mass manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, a minimum of five years of relevant experience, and demonstrate expertise in electronic project management, embedded design, and cross-functional team leadership.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited institution in Electronic Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years Embedded or Electronic Engineering, and electronic project management
- Experience of Embedded Design, embedded software development and debugging
- Experience of Electronic schematics design and validation, provide solutions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience and/or training in systems engineering
- Experience with EMC/EMI requirements and mitigation techniques
- Experience with PCB layout and soldering
- Experience with embedded system integration and best practices
